Santa Cops of Larimer County is taking applications for toy delivery on Saturday Nov. 7, 1-5 p.m. ------------------------------ Why we do not take paper applications? In the last 20+ years since Santa Cops first delivered toys to children in Larimer County, it has grown into an organization which provides toys to approximately 4,000 children each year at Christmastime. In light of this, in 2004 Santa Cops computerized their application process in order to make it run more smoothly and to ensure the information needed for the applications is complete and correct. ------------------------------ How to apply to receive toys for your children Come to University Village, 1600 W. Plum, on Saturday, Nov. 7 between 1 and 5 p.m. Santa Cops board members and volunteers will meet individually with applicants and enter their names, addresses, kids’ information and wish lists for Santa directly into the computer. If an applicant does not speak English, they are asked to bring along someone who can translate for them. ------------------------------ Bring the following information Applicants will be asked to provide the following information: • A photo ID • Birth Certificate, resident alien card, passport, or school record for each child • Proof of address (for example: electric bill or phone bill) • Gift ideas for each of your children (less than $20) For more information, visit the Larimer County Santa Cops website or call our hotline number at (970) 498-5553.
